Savali firmly believes in its commitment towards social responsibilities for destitute women including young widows with dependant children. Savali provides financial and other support to enable them to earn their livelihood with dignity and pride. Savali also recognizes and appreciates invaluable work done for social cause by selfless social workers in various fields including literature and felicitate them with great honour.

Savali has constructed Toilet blocks in 25 Primary schools, as the condition of existing toilets vas very bad, and Community Toilets in 4 villages.

There is irregular power supply in the area, because of which we have supplied Solar power in 25 primary schools. Now these schools get proper electric supply, so can make use of the fans and e-learning equipment which we had supplied.

Puranpoli Distribution to Adivasi School Students
Savali received overwhelming response from well wishers in the Puranpoli distribution program to the adivasi school students. Savali had targeted distributing 3 puranpolis each i.e 3000 puranpolis to 1000 students .However due to the overwhelming response from everyone, Savali distributed more than 4100 puranpolis to 1367 students in 24 schools. The smiles on the faces of these adivasi students residing in the remote areas definitely doubled the holi celebration of all the well wishers. Savali is grateful to all the people who donated for this program.

Setting up “Pushpa Mala Farmers Producer Company” for Mogra Farmers
Savali has taken up new initiative of helping Mogra Farmers in Vikramgad Area in Palghar District .Savali has incorporated Limited Company called as Pushpa Mala Farmers Producer Company with membership of around 200 farmers which will help these farmers in generating more returns for their produce and protect their rights.
Savali will also assist Farmers in soil testing program, marketing of the produce in Wholesale market to optimise return, help farmers financially and also in water restoration so that farmers can produce Mogra throughout the year.

Member farmers of Pushpamala Farmer Producer Company have started selling Mogra from 16th September ,2019 in the Dadar Market despite heavy rains. Transport vehicle will be purchased shortly which will facilitate mogra transportation to other markets in short span to fetch better price.

This year Diwali Faral boxes will be given to 1400 students in 25 schools. There has been overwhelming response from Donors for the same.

Savali has completed water restoration/recharging of wells by desilting wells and constructing sub surface bunds near Kardhan. Savali is grateful to Mr.B.V.Bhargava, Retired Vice Chairman of ICICI for financing this project . Savali has also undertaken 3 projects of water restoration by constructing sub surface bunds and completing Naal Paani Yojanas for villages those were far off from wells.Solar Power has been used in 2 villages. Mahanagar Gas has financed these projects.

Savali was felicitated with Samajik Sanstha Puraskar by Lokmanya Seva Sangh –Vile Parle and Krutadnyata Trust Pune last year and this year on 29th September 2019 by Maharashtra Seva Mandal , Mulund with cash award and momento.

Savali has been helping ‘Women’s Bachat Gats’ in manufacturing home made products and training 200 ladies in making imitation jewellery . Savali’s efforts to create employment for Bachat Gats is successful and 5 bachat gats have started earning regularly by preparing millet flour, Thalipeeth [Mixed Gram ] Flour. They are participating in exhibitions and selling thalipeeth flour,millet flour ,paper bags etc.

Savali is providing Financial and administrative support to promote large scale mogra farming at Palghar district through farmer-producer company – covering 700 farmers.

Savali has been collecting funds for welfare of Families of Army Jawans who were martyred and it has received good response from people from Mumbai and Pune.

Youth Empowerment: Financial assistance provided to 60 adivasi youth for running grocery shops, fertilizer shop, vada pav centre, sheli [goat] palan etc. Savali has provided this financial assistance to deserving young men and women to start business by creating a revolving fund.

Savali has undertaken Nal Paani Yojana benefitting around 3000 families in Jawhar and Karjat taluka.

Savali has helped revive 7 wells and installed overhead tanks and pipes to enable water reach at door step of villagers

Scholarship of Rs.1 Lakh to 13 year old girl blessed with melodious voice for classical music training.
