Background:

Savali Charitable Trust was started in 2007 with the objective of helping the deserving and underprivileged sections of society. The Trust is registered as a Public Charitable Trust under Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950

Savali is engaged in providing financial assistance in the following areas-

• Medical and Health related needs
• Education
• Social cause/ Poverty alleviation programs

• Comprehensive engagement – Our attempt is to always fulfil the complete financial requirements of the needy. We take active interest in the people we support, not just distribute funds for charity. We believe in continued contact and other help where essential.
• Partnership with other social organisations having similar goals and objectives
• No religious or political affiliation or leanings

Funding:

• The Trust currently has a corpus of Rs. 1.5 crores. We are extremely grateful to all our supporters who have helped us reach this far. 99.7% of our funds are used towards helping the needy. We always keep administrative costs to the bare minimum. Our accounts are audited by an independent auditor.
• Our projects are funded through the interest received on the corpus and generous donations from like-minded socially aware donors.
